BASKETS OF LOVE AWARD and a poem about heartbreak so deep I couldn't breathe

Can you die of love you never had

Or grieve the loss of one so bad

Who made you bleed though he was stone

who made you cry

threw you out of his home

Will I die because I loved too much

or picked the wrong man in a rush

I wanted so much to be loved in return

but yet again, I get burned

Will this missive bring him back?

Can I withstand another attack?

All I know is I tried to vain

to melt his cold, cold heart with rain

of tears and cries and sensual pleas

I even would have groveled on my knees

But in the end I will survive

Or maybe not, I’ve already died

I sometimes vote on singing shows. I voted for Elise on American Idol

I have 2 adopted dogs, one with a heart murmur – and if someone tried to steal or hurt them, I would fight to the death,

I speak Spanish badly

My first trip was to visit my grandfather in Puerto Rico and he didn’t like me

I love water of all kinds, ocean, baths, waterfalls but I can’t swim

I was a teacher in 3 different countries

I was born in the 60′s and didn’t take drugs, except a puff of pot once
